Online poker room nominated in four categories

London, September 12, 2008 – PKR.com has capped off a highly successful second year in style after receiving four nominations in the prestigious eGaming Review Awards.

After only two years of operations, the groundbreaking poker room is in the running for one of the top industry awards, Poker Operator of the Year.  The award recognises the operator that has made the most headway in the poker sector, taking into account a range of criteria including originality, growth, scale, usability, payment processing and marketing. Special consideration will be given to operators looking to innovate in this highly competitive sector.

The next-gen site is also up for both Offline Marketing Campaign of the Year and Online Marketing Campaign of the Year, following a wide range of pioneering communications across a variety of media.  The final category that PKR.com is shortlisted for is Hotshot Operator of the Year, designed to spotlight the operator that has made the greatest global impact in 2007/2008 and has shown the most promise for the future.
